ThinkAboutIt
This is the gateway to the interactive ThinkAboutIt site built to accompany Farm Smart. The purpose of the ThinkAboutIt interactive companion site is two-fold:
1. To provide producers with concrete examples of how weather products and research information may be applied to various farming decisions.
While this Farm Smart website is the main storehouse of information about specific climate and weather products, the interactive ThinkAboutIt site takes advantage of new technology created at UNL, which provides examples, practice, and expert advice about how weather and climate products can be used in specific farming decisions.
2. To learn from producers so that the weather products can be improved.
The ThinkAboutIt site is also designed to gather feedback from producers concerning:
- How producers use weather products in their day-to-day farming decisions
- How useful they feel certain weather products are for different decisions
- How weather products might be presented so that they are more easily understood and applied to farming decisions.
